In the book, Norman the Slug with the Silly Shell, by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet, is funny. Norman is the friendliest slug, and he’s full of energy on every page in the book.
I encourage you to read this book because of what your about to read. My three reasons you should read this book are because Norman’s funny, the illustrations of the book look like a movie, and it’s teaching readers how to make up their minds.
Norman is humorous. I think this book is very good it’s full of detail. You can read this story and laugh out loud! If you are a teacher, then this book is good for your class.
Norman the Slug With the Silly Shell is illustrated to look as if a movie. You can watch the book like a movie. You can get into the book like if you are Norman you can be a slug like Norman. You can be very slimy or not that slimy up to you.
This book is teaching the readers how to make up their minds. Norman never makes up his mind.So the author is teaching the reader to make up his or her mind.
If I were to recommend the book to a certain age group then I would recommend it to pre-k through 4th.The first reason I think that this book is for prek-4th is because the pictures help the readers with words. The first reason the pictures help with the words is because the page when Norman makes a lot of slime if the readers didn’t know what a word was the pictures can help them.
The second reason the pictures will help with the words is because the page that Norman is finding a shell they might not know what one of the words like noisy.
That's why NORMAN the slug with the silly shell is so good. You can read this to your class if your a teacher in pre-k, k, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade.
