I love books that bring emotion to me, and the fantastic book by Doug Kuntz and Amy Shrodes, Lost And Found Cat, illustrated by Sue Cornelison, brought not only emotion, but joy. Lost And Found Cat is an excellent book, with its colorful pictures and detailed paragraphs. I absolutely hope that Lost And Found Cat will be cherished by people all around the world.
The cat in this book, Kunkush (pronounced KUN- koosh), is strong and deserves to be loved based on his wild adventure. On page 22, it says, ‘The local cats seemed to know he was a stranger. They hissed and spat and chased him away. Kunkush did not fight back, even though they hated him. He did not want to fight, not after his family disappeared.
I have noticed that Lost And Found Cat has more illustrations than words. The authors, Doug Kuntz and Amy Shrodes, decided that they wanted more pictures than words in the story because they wanted their readers to understand what was happening to Kunkush and his family.
Though words can also paint pictures, Doug and Amy wanted to have pictures flow through the minds of the readers, and I have felt the glow.
The message throughout the book, Lost And Found Cat, is to never give up on hard times. I say this because Kunkush was brave even though his beloved family was not with him. I addition, when he finally reunited with his family, he had a life full of jubilation. An example from the story shows why I thought that the message was never give up.
If I were going to recommend Lost And Found Cat to a certain age group, I would recommend it to all ages! My first reason why I would recommend this book Lost And Found Cat to all ages is because the readers can see the true history about a white cat.
Another reason why I would recommend it to all ages is because it has beautiful and huge pictures, so kids and teenagers can all understand what is going on in the book. The last reason why I would recommend it to all ages is because the paragraphs of the book are not very long, and small kids can read it with help or by themselves, so they can learn how to read more, and the older kids can read it by themselves and they can also understand it.
This is why the book by Doug Kuntz and Amy Shrodes, Lost And Found Cat, illustrated by Sue Cornelison, is an awesome book!
