Do you love books that have a happy ending? Well, if you do, you would want to read the book Peanut Butter & Cupcake. Also, this book Peanut Butter & Cupcake by Terry Border, is good for adults to read to their kids. It is really good for reading to your kids because it tells what Peanut Butter had to do. So If you read this book to your kids, it could tell them how to get a friend too.

I recommend this book for elementary kids in grades kindergarten through second grade. This book fits these age groups because if kindergarteners or young elementary students come to the school for the first time they won't know anyone at the school, in their class, or the adults. They won’t know anyone.

The characters are really strange together. For example, one pair of characters is Peanut Butter and  CupCake. These don’t go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly. This strange character pairing is what caught my attention in the book.

This reminds me of the book School’s First Day of School. In that book, the school doesn't know any of the kids. He afraid exactly like how Peanut Butter is afraid that he won’t find a friend. That is what reminded me of the book School’s First Day of School.

If you're like Peanut Butter and want to a friend, read this book and do what he did. Because If you do, then you could get more friends than you had on the first day of school. Then, you could have a bunch of friends from even different grades. If you want to figure out what happens, read the book.
